Osteoarthritis is a mechanical degenerative and inflammatory condition affecting articular cartilage, synovium and sub-chondral bone tissues. Intra-articular stem cell therapies have shown functional improvement and to reduce pain. These stem cells act via paracrine signaling through various cytokines, growth factors and ECM proteins.
